About Shallon
Shallon Dusebout, MA, LPCC
It all started when…
Shallon’s grandpa got her a horse named Happy. Shallon and Happy grew up together and learned many life lessons together. After volunteering and working at a therapeutic equestrian center in college, Shallon realized her dream of helping people through working with horses.
Shallon Dusebout completed her Master’s in Counseling at Colorado Christian University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. Shallon is certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, and a Therapeutic Riding Instructor. She is also trained in EMDR to competently and empathically treat individuals with single incident or complex trauma.
Shallon believes that relationships with horses reveal underlying strengths and challenges while also empowering individuals to succeed and build healthy relationships.
